At PowerWise, our customers appreciate technology as well as the insightful data provided with our energy management platform. Our projects range from straightforward and turnkey to more interesting and complex. Here are some example projects we’ve worked on recently:
Southern Company utility subsidiary, Alabama Power, worked with PowerWise to include monitoring equipment for a high-tech, connected neighborhood. The Smart Neighborhood project (YouTube) involved monitoring overall electricity use and multiple circuits, water use, relative humidity, CO2, and temperatures. The refrigerators even had multimedia displays showing SiteSage dashboards.
In certain states, SRECs are driving the solar energy market. Every megawatt of solar energy entering the grid represents an SREC. In these states, utilities have renewable energy requirements, which can be met by buying SRECs. Tick Tock Energy has worked with PowerWise on a number of these projects. ZeroEnergy Design is a green architect and mechanical design firm based in Boston. They design buildings with exceptional energy performance. They use SiteSage to verify if new buildings and renovation projects meet their energy goals. Plus the environmental sensors report on CO2, relative humidity, and temperature.
PowerWise is dedicated to delivering quality service on all projects, from the initial conceptualization to quoting, to guiding our clients through installations. Nothing gives us more satisfaction than seeing a project show positive results for our customers whether it’s cost savings, better insight into building and equipment performance, or monitoring a dynamic and complex system.
PowerWise is a proven innovator of monitoring and control technology.
